Family Picnic - Saturday, June 1, 2013 11am - 2pm

Join us for the annual Pack 119 Family Picnic on Saturday, June 1, 2013, 11am-2pm at SMPC. We will have a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, sno-cones, water rockets and more. There will chips, cookies, hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie dogs to snack on. At 1:30pm we have a Den graduation ceremony and any remaining awards will be given out. 

The Pack 119 Family Picnic is for scouts and their families. There is NO COST this year because our Pack did and excellent job raising money with our fundraisers.

**We do need for you to RSVP in order to plan for food.** Click here to RSVP online for the Picnic or email Kelly N. at kellynowo@gmail.com to let me know how many people will be attending the Family Picnic.

The plan for the day:
11am-1pm - kids can bounce, play games, have a sno-cone
12pm - Lunch - hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie dogs, chips, etc.
1:30pm-2pm - Den graduation ceremony

Early Registration is back!

Early Registration is back!  -- Register NOW for 2013-2014 and save $25

Dues for 2013-2014 for returning Scouts will be discounted if you sign up starting in May through the picnic on June 1st. Early Registration dues are $75/scout. After June 1st dues will increase to $100/scout. This is the best way to hit the ground running next year. It gives the Den Leaders a head start on planning for the fall, which will be here before we know it.

Bear Den Campground is off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Check out their website to learn more about the campground itself. This is a Family Camping trip. The more the merrier!

Cost: To Be Determined

If you don't want to camp in tents there are also cabins you can rent on your own. Make your reservations early! From the website: "rental cabins range from primitive Campin’ Cabins to luxurious, completely equipped and furnished rental cabins that sleep up to 10 vacationers." If you prefer to rent one of the cabins you will need to make your own reservations and pay seperately. All the information is on their website -  Bear-Den.com
